I WAS TOLD SOMETHING 15 YEARS AGO THAT HAS STAYED WITH ME EVER SINCE… “IF YOU ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS, YOU WILL GET THE RIGHT ANSWERS”
When we are creating work for our clients, we need information! This helps spark our ideas and this information will guide our creative direction.
So rather than babbling on for ages, I thought I would share 30 questions that will help you engage your clients’ minds.
- Why do you need a logo now?
- Why are you going through a re-design?
- Why does your existing logo need a refresh?
- Where will this logo be used?
- What are the values that drive your business?
- What problem does your product/ service solve?
- Why did you choose to speak to me about this?
- What are some big goals you have for this company?
- What drives you? Apart from money
- How long have you been running your business?
- How do you market your brand?
- What is the biggest challenge you face right now?
- Who is your perfect client?
- Who are you targeting your services/ product at?
- Is there anything you want to share that we have not covered?
- What is most important to you right now?
- What are your strengths?
- Why should people care about your business?
- Do you have any events coming up?
- What is your budget for this work?
- What is your timeline for this project?
- What makes you different?
- What personality do you want to emote as a brand?
- Are there any colours you don’t like?
- What is the key reason we are on this call today?
- What do you feel I can bring to this project?
- Why did you choose this name for your company?
- What is your personal and professional background?
- Why are you launching this business now?
- As well as this logo are there any other creative needs you have?
I hope these help you in your next project.
Pick a few of your favourites out of this bunch and use them to spark real and meaningful conversations with your clients.
Have a great day.
